CT FoodShare Mobile Food Pantry

First Church & Connecticut FoodShare Mobile Pantry is our hands-on way of loving our neighbors like Jesus did. Every other Wednesday, our church family transforms into a bustling hub of hope as the FoodShare truck rolls in, loaded with fresh produce, shelf-stable goods, and essential groceries. Volunteers from First Church gather early—arriving at 10:45 AM—to set up, organize, and prepare to serve. When the truck opens at 11:30 AM, anyone who comes is welcome. No qualifications. No paperwork. No questions asked. Just take a number, step up to the truck, and receive what is offered with dignity and kindness. Whether you’re facing a tough week or just need a little help, you are welcome here. And if you feel called to serve, pull on a pair of gloves and join our volunteer team. Together, we’re not just distributing food—we’re distributing the love of Christ, one Wednesday at a time.
