First Church meets every week on Sundays at either 9:00 am or 11:00 am.

How long is a First Church Service?
You can expect a First Church service to last about 60 to 75 minutes—just the right amount of time to connect, reflect, and be encouraged. We’ll kick things off with our Worship Team leading us in music, and you’re invited to jump in however you feel most comfortable. Lyrics will be up on the screens, so whether you want to sing along, quietly listen, or simply soak it in, you’re welcome to do you.
After that, one of our pastors will take a moment to share a message that’s encouraging, heartfelt, and centered on Jesus. It’s a space meant to leave you feeling lifted and reminded of what matters most.
What’s the culture like at First Church of Torrington?
Sundays at First Church are full of energy, joy, and connection—the kind of place where you can come exactly as you are and feel like family from the moment you walk in. We truly love this church, and it shows in everything we do. So whether it's Sunday or a Bible Study during the week, come as you are, and know you're always welcome here.
What about my Kids?
We believe church should be the highlight of your kid's week—and at First Church, we're all in on making that happen. Your children's safety is just as important to us as their fun, so we've got a simple check-in process with our First Kids' Adult Crew Member to help get everyone settled in. Just plan to arrive about ten minutes early to get signed in, and we'll take care of the rest.
Your kids will kick things off right alongside you in worship, and after the Kids' Story, they'll head out with their First Kids' Adult Crew Member for some unforgettable fun in Bible Adventures. (Just a heads-up: First Kids' Bible Adventures takes place at our 11:00am service only.) We can't wait to welcome your family!
