Trustees’ Ministry Meeting

The Trustee Ministry of First Church Torrington is called to be faithful stewards of everything the Lord has entrusted to this body—from the bricks and beams of our building to every dollar given in faithful offering. Operating under prayerful consideration and sound biblical wisdom, the Trustees bear the sacred responsibility of managing the church’s finances and facilities with integrity, transparency, and foresight. Each year, they prayerfully craft the annual budget, ensuring that resources align with the church’s mission and values. They assess maintenance needs, oversee building projects, and present creative opportunities for fundraising that fuel ministry both locally and globally. Whether securing a leaky roof, reviewing financial reports, or casting vision for a new outreach initiative, the Trustees work behind the scenes so that First Church can move forward boldly. They understand that every asset—every pew, every dollar, every donated resource—is ultimately the Lord’s, and they are honored to manage it all for His glory and the advancement of His Kingdom, right here in Torrington and to the ends of the earth.
