Mercy made manifest — March 15, 2026

On the cross, mercy is made manifest as Jesus Christ willingly takes upon Himself the full weight of humanity's sin and its just penalty, absorbing the divine wrath that we deserved. In that sacrificial act, God’s justice is fully satisfied, clearing the path for His compassion to flow freely toward sinners. Thus, the cross becomes the ultimate demonstration of mercy, not as the overlooking of sin, but as its just punishment being borne by the loving Substitute.
